Maiden's Capriccio ~ Dream Battle (IN, SWR)

Also known as: Shrine Maiden of Paradise

Reimu is the main character of Touhou games 1-12. She is the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, a remote building far in the east where the boundaries of Gensokyo and the human world overlap. Reimu is very easygoing—some would say lazy—and hates training. As such, even though she's naturally talented, her offensive and magical abilities are only average. However, she has a strong sense of duty, and if it's for the sake of Gensokyo she can overcome almost any obstacle through sheer perseverance. Her main abilities are flying in the sky, good intuition, and getting along with everyone; even those who were once her enemies. In the games, she is characterized by her homing amulets and yin-yang orbs. In addition to being in all of the Touhou games (save Touhou 9.5), she is featured in Seihou: Shuushou Gyoku as one of the Extra Bosses and in Graffiti Kingdom as "Flying Maiden", on which these games ZUN is involved. Due to the way she is often dressed, Reimu's exposed armpits are often used as targets for Internet jokes and memes.

Heidi Montag Says Kidnap Call Was 'False Alarm'

On Wednesday afternoon (January 13), police arrived at "Hills" stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's home after receiving a call about an attempted kidnapping. TMZ initially reported that a 911 call was placed by a neighbor who said that someone was trying to kidnap Montag.

According to reports, a man who allegedly works for Pratt had been arrested after police stormed the house. The suspect has now been released and Montag said in a statement to People magazine that the whole incident was a misunderstanding. TMZ added that no crime had been committed and that the man who had been briefly detained by authorities did eventually make his way back into the Pratts' residence.

According to Montag, she was making her way into her home and the sight of her face covered with a scarf prompted a neighbor to call 911 thinking she was in danger. The misunderstanding was quickly cleared up.

"We're grateful this was only a false alarm and I just had my pink Hermès scarf over me," Montag told People. "A neighbor was concerned and called the police. We're thankful to the LAPD for their response and making sure we were safe."

TMZ reported that Heidi had recently undergone a plastic-surgery procedure and was hiding her face to avoid being photographed before her People cover story cover story hits shelves on Friday.

A request for comment by MTV News to Montag's reps was not returned at press time.
